Euronanomed was created in 2009 as a platform for funding agencies and ministries with the aim of creating and funding collaborative research and innovation projects that can convert research in nanotechnology into practical gains in medicine. Since then, the platform has gained importance with the funding of more top-notch collaborative projects over the years and, therefore, the attraction of more funding investments from public institutions. Some of their recent numbers are the following:
NanoGSkin project was funded in the Joint Transnational Call 2017 and our Project Coordinator, Dr. Miguel Alaminos, was invited to the review seminar celebrated on 28-29th May 2019 in Bratislava. In this seminar, several presentations from projects funded in 2015- 2017 took place as well as a training workshop on Responsible Research and Innovation (link to agenda). As a result of our participation, we have strengthened our network in the field of regenerative medicine and nanotechnology, facilitating the set up of future collaborative proposals.
