The NanoGSKin Project present in the ISCT-Florence

Under the title “CLINICAL TRANSLATION OF FIBRIN-AGAROSE BIOARTIFICIAL HUMAN TISSUES”, our project coordinator, Dr. Miguel Alaminos, exposed the main results of one of NanoGSkin innovative technologies, the fibrin-agarose hydrogel in which our artificial skin substitute is based.

Our Coordinator focused his speech in the complete procedure from basic research to clinical routine as summarized in the following scheme:

 

Taking advantage of this presentation, our Coordinator explained the NanoGSkin project as a way to move forward for this technology. Thanks to the addition of the NPs nanoparticles (nanoencapsulated rhEGF and antibiotics), we will achieve shorter skin manufacturing time and less bacterial infections.
